Modern Slavery Statement

Modern Slavery Act 2015 Statement for the Financial Year Ending 31 March 2026

Our Policy

ECO Animal Health Group Plc (ECO) is firmly opposed to all forms of modern slavery and human trafficking and will not tolerate these practices within any part of its business or supply chain. We are committed to implementing effective policies, procedures and controls to identify, assess and mitigate the risk of modern slavery and to take appropriate action should any instances be identified.

Our Business

ECO develops, registers and distributes pharmaceutical products for the global animal health market. The Group is a public company, trading on the AIM market of the London Stock Exchange and is headquartered in the United Kingdom. ECO employs over 200 people across seven offices worldwide.

ECO operates as a semi‑virtual organisation, making extensive use of contract research organisations and third‑party manufacturers to support its research and product manufacturing activities. Our products are sold in over 70 countries through a combination of subsidiaries, joint ventures, joint operations and third‑party distributors.

Our Supply Chains

All of ECO’s supply chains operate within the highly regulated pharmaceutical sector and are required to comply with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Good Distribution Practice (GDP) standards. These requirements ensure that our products are consistently manufactured, controlled and distributed in accordance with stringent quality standards. Compliance is monitored through regular inspections by national regulators, complemented by ECO’s own audit programme covering suppliers and third‑party manufacturers to provide ongoing assurance of GMP adherence.

ECO is committed to ensuring that modern slavery and human trafficking do not occur in any part of our business or supply chains. In line with our Modern Slavery Act 2015 Statement and our wider commitment to acting ethically and with integrity in all business relationships, we have implemented and enforce systems and controls designed to identify, assess and mitigate the risk of these practices. These measures include, for example:

  • Between 1 April 2025 and 31 March 2026, ECO completed 36 Good Manufacturing/ Distribution/Clinical audits and assessments (14 onsite and 22 assessments) of its contract manufacturers, Clinical Research Organisations and suppliers worldwide. These audits and assessments covered sites located in China, the United States of America, the United Kingdom, Europe and Latin America. No observations or concerns relating to modern slavery practices were identified during these audits and site visits.
  • A Business Partner Modern Slavery Compliance Self‑Assessment was produced in February 2026. This assessment will be issued to all ECO service providers in the financial year ending 31 March 2027, including contract manufacturing organisations, logistics providers and laboratories, as well as raw material suppliers, to reinforce the importance ECO places on identifying and mitigating modern slavery risks throughout its supply chain.
Our Relevant Policies

Our policy on slavery and human trafficking is set out at the beginning of this statement.

In line with ECO’s commitment to conducting its business ethically, responsibly and with integrity, several existing policies support our approach to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking across the Group. These policies help to reinforce expected standards of behaviour and provide mechanisms for raising concerns. Relevant policies include:

  • Anti‑Bribery and Corruption Policy
  • Anti‑Harassment and Bullying Policy
  • Capability Policy
  • Equal Opportunities Statement
  • Whistleblowing Policy
  • Grievance and Disputes Procedure
Training

Training is regularly undertaken to ensure our staff understand the risks of modern slavery and human trafficking in our business and supply chains, how they can identify if it is taking place and what actions they should take. Our new Modern Slavery training provider, KnowBe4, delivered a mandatory online training module titled ‘Modern Slavery in the United Kingdom’ from 28 March 2025 to all ECO employees. As of 1 May 2026, 93% of those invited had completed the training. Nearly half of those yet to complete the module are new starters who are currently undergoing onboarding and other mandatory training.

In addition, on 3 November 2025, all eight members of the Quality Department responsible for conducting global audits at ECO business partner sites completed a specialist three-hour, instructor-led online Advanced Modern Slavery training course delivered by Peel Solutions.

Monitoring

ECO has implemented monitoring processes to assess the effectiveness of its policies, procedures and activities in preventing modern slavery and human trafficking across its business and supply chains.
